I recently made a fondant birthday cake for my friend's niece who lives in Queens, NY. It was made of 3 layers of dark, moist chocolate cake, filled with orange scented chocolate mousse and iced with creamy Vanilla Buttercream. Aside from the cake, I also did chocolate cupcakes frosted with chocolate-orange ganache and the classic buttercream icing.
A cake that can be placed as a centerpiece for Thanksgiving; Made up of layers of spice cake filled with orange cream cheese frosting, frosted with orange buttercream and decorated with hand-sculpted leaves and berries.
