I know I've been out of the blog scene for awhile. So, where have I been? I was in Las Vegas to visit my relatives (and unwind a little bit) and Canada to see Niagara Falls! I'll be sharing some of my work in between my trips & my last posting.
This cake was inspired by the invitation's color. Instead of the usual cross design, I made a clean white gift box accented with a huge mauve bow. This time, the gift box was closed and wrapped with a ribbon compared to my previous designs which have propped lids. I also did some booties out of gumpaste and some carnation flowers. This was a mosit chocolate cake with vanilla buttercream and was delivered to Flushing in Queens, NY.
